Write, and quote the lot.

There is no contact form here and no telephone line. An order or a question in this trade is a list of botanical names, doses and batch numbers, and every one of those is easy to mishear and expensive to get wrong — so everything is written, read back against the label, and filed with the batch it concerns.

Send the LOT number printed on your bag and most questions become a one-line answer: it names the field, the season and the lot it was filled from.

Same herbs, same labels, same batches — the difference is what comes back with the answer. Write to the wrong one and it will be handed across; it only costs a day.

Written enquiries are read on every working day and answered in the order they arrive. Anything that needs a lot pulled off the shelf to check waits until someone is at the bench.
